Noah Blevins is a clarinet performer and emerging soloist currently pursuing a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance at Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Originally from California, Noah earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from California State University, Sacramento, where he built a strong foundation as both a solo and ensemble musician.

During his studies at CSU Sacramento, he served as President of the Klarinet Klub and performed as Principal Clarinet of the CSU Sacramento Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra.

An accomplished solo performer, Noah was named winner of the CSU Sacramento Concerto Competition and was featured in the university’s Concerto Competition Concert. His performance experience spans orchestral, wind ensemble, opera, choral-orchestral, and festival settings, including appearances in the Midwest Clinic, Cendrillon, Francis Poulenc’s Gloria, Die Zauberflöte, and A Bayou Legend.

Noah’s honors include the John Philip Sousa Award, Benny Goodman Scholarship, Saturday Club Scholarship, CSU Sacramento Concerto Competition Award, and a Longy School of Music Named Scholarship. His repertoire includes major works by Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, Poulenc, Schumann, Stravinsky, Jessie Montgomery, and Malcolm Arnold, as well as chamber music by Beethoven, Brahms, Valerie Coleman, Jacques Ibert, and others.

In addition to performing, Noah has experience in music education and academic support through his work as an Instructional Student Assistant at CSU Sacramento and Graduate Fellow of Instrumental Studies at Longy.
